Perché ci piace: Le first ladies del rock and roll hanno avuto una trasformazione cinematica in questo biopic. Joan e Cherie erano un duetto elettrizzante sul palco e le versioni cinematografiche sono state fedeli grazie alle performance stellari di Kristen Stewart e Dakota Fanning.
"Ho preso una rapida decisione nel voler concentrare la storia su Cherie e Joan... quindi era uno sforzo cosciente, si sa, per renderlo più personale ... soprattutto su entrambe ed il loro rapporto" ha dichiarato Floria Sigismondi, che ha diretto il film.

They say: "I made it a very early decision that the story was going to be about Cherie and Joan…so that was a conscious effort, you know, to...make it more personal on the two of them and their relationship," said Director Floria Sigismondi.
