Robert Pattinson lascia il film  "Mission: Blacklist ", un thriller indie in merito alla caccia di Saddam Hussein , a causa di problemi di pianificazione .

Nel maggio 2012,è uscito il primo annuncio dove Robert  avrebbe interpretato il  militare Eric Maddox , che ha guidato la cattura di Saddam Hussein .

Sono iniziati i provini per il ruolo di Maddox e i realizzatori  sperano di iniziare la produzione questo autunno .

Pattinson è occupato con  due film diretti a Cannes -  " The Rover "  di David Michod e "Maps to The Stars " di David Cronenberg , recentemente ha interpretato il fotografo  Dennis  Stock in "Life" di Anton Corbijn con  Dane DeHaan.

Per il  futuro , Pattinson deve girare accanto a  Benedict Cumberbatch di James Gray "The Lost City di Z " e il thriller di James Marsh "Hold On to Me" con Carey Mulligan .

Robert Pattinson has exited “Mission: Blacklist,” an indie thriller about the hunt for Saddam Hussein, due to scheduling issues.

First announced in May 2012, Pattinson was attached to play military interrogator Eric Maddox, who spearheaded Hussein's capture.

With two films premiering at Cannes, Pattinson is coming off a very active period. He just wrapped Anton Corbijn's “Life” with Dane DeHaan and did not have sufficient time to prepare for his demanding role in “Mission: Blacklist,”.

The role of Maddox will now be recast, and the filmmakers hope to start production this fall.

Pattinson has a busy spring with two films heading to Cannes — David Cronenberg's “Maps to the Stars” and David Michod's “The Rover,” which also stars Guy Pearce.

Looking ahead, Pattinson is attached to star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in James Gray's “The Lost City of Z” and the James Marsh thriller “Hold On to Me” with Carey Mulligan. He's repped by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment, Curtis Brown Group and attorney Robert Offer.

MADDOX: I'm very excited about it. The one thing I've asked is that the movie be as real as possible. And working with Rob, that's the one thing he insists on. He always asks me, 'Is this real? Did this happen?' So it's exciting. We'll see.

Mission: Black List  sta pagando per fare delle riprese in California. Molti sanno che il film ha vinto una lotteria, ma non è stato ancora finanziato del tutto.

Nel mese di Luglio, i vincitori della Lotteria sono stati approvati per far avanzare il programma (dopo un ulteriore esame da parte della Film Commission).

Mission: BlackList è stato approvato ai sensi del Programma di Incentivazione Fiscale e la data di inizio riprese è il 30 SETTEMBRE!
